KARACHI: The Sindh government has ordered disbursement of salaries and pensions in advance ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, falling on 21st or 22nd of April, ARY News reported

“The provincial government has placed to decide that full pay and allowances/full pension for the month of April, shall be paid in advance to all Muslim employees/pensioners of Provincial Government of Sindh (including work-charged and contingent paid establishment),” read a notification from the finance department.

The notification stated that the salaries and pensions will be released on April 17 instead of May 2, noting that Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on either April 21 or April 22.
