Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has said that he “follows” his Pakistani counterpart General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
General Rawat was seen saying this historic word “follows” during an interview to a journalist.
Asked what is his view on him, the Indian army chief said, “I follow him, I follow him in whatever he says I keep taking a feedback. I know where he visits, all that I do follow him.”

Indian COAS says that he follows Pakistan Army Chief.Even better would be if he follows General Bajwa’s vision for regional peace, stability and progress. For that India has to unfollow enmity with Pakistan. pic.twitter.com/P6KmdeafR9

General Rawat further commented, “Clearly, he is the chief of Pakistan Army so I have to.”
Major General Asif Ghafoor, director general (DG) of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), said that it would be better if the Indian army chief follows General Bajwa’s vision for regional peace, stability and progress.
The DG ISPR, however, said for that, India has to unfollow enmity with Pakistan.
