During the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) plenary discussion on Friday, it was noted that Pakistan was able to address only 5 items on the 27-point action plan thus prompting the agency to warn Pakistan of getting blacklisted by February 2020. There was consensus on retaining Pakistan in ‘grey list’ based on its poor performance and was asked to act swiftly.
